A link a friend of mine set me about a young lady over here on a Student Visa being kidnapped off the street by plain clothes masked ICE officers that didn't identify themselves & quickly whisked out of state to prevent it going to court & her Visa revoked because she wrote a piece in the Uni's newspaper a year ago supporting sanctioning Israel for it's Genocide. Apparently being critical of Israel makes you a Hamas supporter.

Part way through this episode they talk about how the traffic cops are single crewed these days & the problems that causes. They talk about how they always used to be double crewed & the benefits of that. The underfunding there has been over the years of Tory govt is why they are having to be put at risk by being single crewed.

My mum tried to teach me budgetting but the method relied on her giving me the figures to put at the tops of the columns & I never could get the figures in the columns to add up to the total reliably. It was also very time consuming so totally impractical as a full time unpaid carer & parent to 3 disabled kids.
