Donald Trump says Venezuela ‘illegally took’ US oil and ‘we want it back’ – live
WTF?! Why on earth would Venezuala, an oil producing nation, take US oil?! Unless this ridiculous President thinks the US owns Venezuela's oil (which would be too ridiculous to be true with any other President but not Trump). Shows what his attacks on Venezuela are really about though.

Its all over the news. NHS push to get those eligible for flu vaccine vaccinated. So you'd think they would have vaccines available. Wrong. Not if your surgery is Abbeywell in Romsey at any rate.
I have been denied a vaccine in spite of being eligible. I am housebound but when I enquired when they were doing vaccine sessions how as a housebound person I would get a vaccine. I was told I'd be contacted. What I wasn't told you need to be registered Housebound &no one checked. My GP knew I was

housebound & I have for over a year. No one brought it up until just few days ago. I am now registered housebound but the lists for vaccination are closed &apparently the surgery are out of vaccines.
The receptionist said get someone to help me into a car (I can't climb into a car). I am not a child you can just pick up & put in a car nor am I under weight. No one would be able to manhandle me into a car. So I can't get vaccinated through no fault of my own

Yesterday's news: sickness absence, driven in large part by a surge in mental health issues, is costing the UK economy £212 billion a year.
Today's news: NHS mental health services are closing.
If someone thinks that's going to save money, they are going to be sorely disappointed.
Also, quite apart from the money, it's just utterly cruel on a human level.
