Richard Lauchert
Richard Lauchert était un portraitiste allemand né le 2 février 1823 à Sigmaringen et mort à Berlin en 1868.
Il est le fils de Josef Lauchert, conseiller à la cour, et de Walburga Lauchert, née à Guttenberg. Il a étudié à l'Académie de Munich. Après ses études, il s'est rendu à Paris, où il a travaillé peu de temps, puis en Allemagne. Il a reçu le titre de «Hofmaler» (peintre de la cour) par le prince de Hohenzollern. En 1852, il se rend au château de Rauden, en Haute-Schélie, où il peint les portraits de ses propriétaires, le duc Hatibor et son épouse. À Rauden, il rencontre la sœur de Herzog Amalie et se fiance avec elle. Après de longues discussions, les conditions du mariage sont acceptées et, en 1857 (automne), il se rend avec Amalie à Thur, propriété du duc d'Hatibor. Le chemin du jeune couple fraîchement marié mena d'abord en Russie, où Lauchert peignit l'empereur Alexandre à Pétersbourg, ainsi que le magnifique portrait de sa femme. Après ce travail, Lauchert s'installe avec sa femme à Berlin, où il réalise des portraits de la plus haute aristocratie. C'est également à Berlin qu'il réalise une quantité incroyable de ses plus beaux portraits. L'été, Lauchert partait en villégiature avec sa famille (2 fils et 3 filles), généralement dans la forêt de Thuringe, où il réalisait les plus beaux dessins de paysages. Le peintre est mort en 1868.

Enshittifying the fediverse because you're afraid of big corpos and think everyone who isn't already here can just die in the hellhole fire of the other networks, "How DARE People Suggest We Build Fire Exits!".
So yeah, screw that self absorbed bullshit.
People are leaving the fediverse for Bluesky, why? Because people over here demand purity to random ideals, because people over here think it's unreasonable that someone might want to connect with friends and loved ones who made a different choice of network.
This is part of a much bigger problem... pissed that I'm surrounded all my life by people who think holier than though infighting and rejecting anyone who isn't pure enough in their ideals, instead of y'know actually pushing for changes that protect people.
I'm staring down the barrel of a gun in my life as my country falls apart to fascism and I'm in the top two of most hated and most at risk minorities... but at least y'all kept people on Bluesky from realizing the fediverse even exists...
