When one enterprise or another, or even a whole branch of the economy, becomes the property of the bourgeois State, its social nature is unaltered. The modern bourgeois State represents the interests of monopoly capital and is an instrument of coercion in its hands, with which it protects the oppression of the working majority by the propertied minority.
