Update with archive files
!Friendica Support
I don't know if the question is already asked in this forum, but is there any chance that the full archive files will be available soon for updating to the latest release? If not, is there a short guide how to change from archive files to Github pull update I don't want to break my instance.

From the website:
Using the Archive Files
Due to problems with the build pipeline we cannot provide archive files at the moment that contain all dependencies as usual. We will update this documents as soon as possible.
Do not use the archive files provided by github as they does not contain the dependencies.
=====================
I know there is a manual for updating with Github, but that is when the instance is installed with Github. git pull doesn't work for me. Like I wrote, I don't want to break my instance.

Anyway i updated to 2024.08 about 4 weeks ago, so these files must be stored somewhere - and yes, got the archive-files from here.
So the information at github is out of date. Thanks for the 'Do not use the archive files provided by github' -hint. Didn't had that in mind.
