Ian Adams: The common elements of fascism - extreme nationalism, social Darwinism, the leadership principle, elitism, anti-liberalism, anti-egalitarianism, anti-democracy, intolerance, glorification of war, the supremacy of the state and anti-intellectualism - together form a rather loose doctrine. Fascism emphasises action rather than theory, and fascist theoretical writings are always weak. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Lenin: (To Béla Kun) Please inform us what real guarantees you have that the new Hungarian Government will actually be a communist, and not simply a socialist government, i.e., one of traitor-socialists. Have the Communists a majority in the government? When will the Congress of Soviets take place? What does the socialists' recognition of the dictatorship of the proletariat really amount to? wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Nikola Tesla: I am following the situation in USSR, I try to get testimonies from eyewitnesses, not from newspapers that lie non-stop. I approve of the Russian revolution because it proclaimed the principle of honesty on one-sixth of the earth's surface. The Soviet Union faces incredible trials, but the country is ready to overcome them. The Russians are lucky - they have socialism and Stalin. A happy people with a wise leader. Only under the leadership of a wise and strong leader is the people capable of feats. The only positive thing in this century is the Russian revolution and the creation of the Soviet Union. I remember the forecasts from 1918 very well. In the beginning, everyone said that the Bolsheviks would not stay in power for more than a few months. Later, months turned into years. Twenty years have passed, and the Bolsheviks are still in power! Twenty years! In the beginning, the whole world turned its back on the revolutionaries, now it recognizes them and cooperates with them. I would be very happy if Stalin visited the United States. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

George Carlin: This country was founded by a group of slave-owners who told us all men are created equal. Oh yeah, all men, except for Indians and niggers and women, right? I always like to use that authentic American language. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

George Carlin: Now, to balance the scale, I'd like to talk about some things that bring us together, things that point out our similarities instead of our differences. 'Cause that's all you ever hear about in this country. It's our differences. That's all the media and the politicians are ever talking about-the things that separate us, things that make us different from one another. That's the way the ruling class operates in any society. They try to divide the rest of the people. They keep the lower and the middle classes fighting with each other so that they, the rich, can run off with all the fucking money! Fairly simple thing. Happens to work. You know? Anything different-that's what they're gonna talk about-race, religion, ethnic and national background, jobs, income, education, social status, sexuality, anything they can do to keep us fighting with each other, so that they can keep going to the bank! You know how I define the economic and social classes in this country? The upper class keeps all of the money, pays none of the taxes. The middle class pays all of the taxes, does all of the work. The poor are there just to scare the shit out of the middle class. Keep 'em showing up at those jobs. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Jose Maria Sison: To die for the people is weightier than Mount Thai, but to work for the fascists and die for the exploiters and oppressors is lighter than a feather. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Claudia Jones: We Communists adhere to the fundamental belief that complete and lasting equality of imperialist oppressed nations of peoples can be guaranteed only with the establishment of Socialism. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Muammar Gaddafi: Capitalist companies produce viruses so that they can generate and sell vaccinations... If the vaccines were free, you'd see that many of these unknown viruses would stop appearing and spreading. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Silvia Federici: Racism and sexism are necessary conditions for the existence of the capitalist class. The capitalist class always needs a population without rights, in the colonies, in the kitchen, in the plantation, which is determinant for the process of value accumulation. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Kwame Ture: We must know clearly the difference between mobilization and organization. One of the characteristics of mobilization is that it is temporary. Organization is permanent and eternal... We must transform mobilization to organization. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Fidel Castro: Our country will have much more, but it will never be a consumer society, it will be a society of knowledge, culture, and of the most extraordinary conceivable human development; development of culture, art, science and not of chemical weapons. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Karl Marx: Capital is dead labour, that, vampire-like, only lives by sucking living labour, and lives the more, the more labour it sucks. The time during which the labourer works, is the time during which the capitalist consumes the labour-power he has purchased of him. If the labourer consumes his disposable time for himself, he robs the capitalist. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Albert Einstein: The economic anarchy of capitalist society as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of the evil. We see before us a huge community of producers the members of which are unceasingly striving to deprive each other of the fruits of their collective labour...I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Lenin: Trotsky has never yet held a firm opinion on any important question of Marxism. He always contrives to worm his way into the cracks of any given difference of opinion, and desert one side for the other. At the present moment he is in the company of the Bundists and the liquidators. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Lenin: The theory that the struggle between Bolshevism and Menshevism is a struggle for influence over an immature proletariat is not a new one. We have been encountering it since 1905 in innumerable books, pamphlets, and articles in the liberal press. Martov and Trotsky are putting before the German comrades liberal views with a Marxist coating... wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Ahmed Sékou Touré: When you are praised by the colonist, it means that you are bad for your people. When they say you are bad, it means that you are good for your people. The day they say I'm good, that'll mean I betrayed you. wordsmith.social/protestation/…

Lenin: Complete equality of rights for all nations; the right of nations to self-determination; the unity of the workers of all nations—such is the national program that Marxism (teaches) the workers. wordsmith.social/protestation/…
